Later more hunters are seen armed with similar rifles as the village puts out a reward for anyone who can kill or capture the monster in the same episode and the next one, "Enfatico" (S1E06).

The soldiers are armed with Howa Type 20 and find the couple who owns the truck before being attacked by the monster Anguirus in "Gadabout" (S1E03). It should be noted that this is the first Godzilla media to feature the Howa Type 20. JSDF soldiers are seen armed with them again in "Graftage" (S1E08), "Relaunch" (S1E11), "Explorer" (S1E12) and "Together" (S1E13). A JSDF soldier can also be seen armed with one in the show's end credits.

They make their proper introduction in the show mounted on JGSDF jeeps in "Theorist" (S1E05), the jeep mounted guns are used against Anguirus in "Enfatico" (S1E06) only for him to deflect them back. They return on top of Type 16 maneuver combat vehicles in "Omniarch" (S1E07) and "Graftage" (S1E08). They are finally seen on Type 10 tanks in the show proper in "Encipher" (S1E10). Jeeps are again seen armed with them in "Explorer" (S1E12) and "Together" (S1E13).

AH-1 Cobra Weapons

Seen in a promotional trailer but not the show itself is a Bell AH-1 Cobra. For some reason, possibly time constraints or pacing, they are removed from the show. Had they been kept in they likely would have been armed with rotary cannons, chain guns and automatic grenade launchers.

Harpoon Gun

The robot Jet Jaguar is seen in the opening using a harpoon gun. The harpoon gun makes its proper introduction in the show in "Theorist" (S1E05) mounted on a pickup truck as several hunters try to collect the village bounty on Anguirus. In "Enfatico" (S1E06), Jet Jaguar picks up the harpoon gun off the truck to fight Anguirus.
